Hi there, I’m Alysa!

I hail from Berks County, PA and currently bring the morning news to the Delmarva Peninsula as a reporter and fill-in anchor at WRDE Coast TV in Milton, DE.

I attribute much of who I am as a journalist and as a person to pageantry – and to the Miss America Organization, in particular. I represent my hometown as Miss Greater Reading 2022, and will compete for the job of Miss Pennsylvania 2022 in June. I am also a former Miss Philadelphia (2019 & 2020) and Miss Pennsylvania’s Outstanding Teen (2016). I continue to chase my lifelong dream of competing on the Miss America stage.

I am also a passionate mental health and recovery advocate. Through my social impact initiative, Tyler’s Triumph: The More Than Project, I work to empower people living with mental health and substance use disorders. I am the Founder and President of Tyler’s Triumph, Inc., a non-profit organization I started to provide those struggling with the tools to thrive in recovery.

When I’m not on TV or at an appearance, you’ll find me working toward my MSL at Cabrini University and hanging out with my one-year-old French Bulldog, Penelope.
